New Dwelling – Newcastle & Bryansford

Traditional and Contemporary
Both these dwellings are located in Newcastle, Co. Down and are new
builds. The first image is a house built close to Bryansford village as a farm retirement dwelling, it is a single story with a traditional appearance.
The second image is a house overlooking Newcastle bay. Built on the
slopes of the Mournes, this house was designed to take advantage of
the amazing sea views. The basement bedrooms were hewn from the
rock which released the first and second floors as living accommodation.
Together these two dwellings display the diversity of F.J. Charleton.
